Corten Crest House

Corten Crest House is a sensitive renovation that reinterprets a traditional Lebanese stone house through a contemporary architectural intervention. A new upper floor was carefully introduced, expressed in corten steel volumes that hover above the original masonry. The contrast between raw stone and oxidized metal creates a clear dialogue between past and present. Circulation elements and terraces were reshaped to enhance views and spatial flow. Large openings frame the landscape while respecting the scale of the heritage structure. The project stands as a balanced composition of memory, material honesty, and modern living.
